  2. KGM are a Lloyd's Synidicate. Unfortunatley they only work through brockers. I've had a lot of strange kit insured through them over the years.

  7. Funny you shoukl say that! I have a specific clause in my will NO HEARSE!!!! I loath the things, the back of a Dodge or Land Rover. I did attend a friend's funeral, the coffin travelled on the back of his RL. It was odd, we were much more used to seeing him under it :-D

  11. A lot of it is better lubrication, which remeber also cools. Trouble is it now seems that the idea is to extract power for the sake of it. To change the six injectors on a Scania bus, the enginners tell me £14,000. Mind you the powertrain is superb.
  12. At last a man with sense. He also supported stopping all bus'es on Monday. As for his predessesor, he wasn't the one having to drive the beasts so didn't give a donald. :iloveyou:
  13. With over a thousand members we now have a fair old clout, time to start using it. Jack has worked deals with some companies.

  16. In them days you din't have a couple of hundred thousand other nerds out on the road wityh you. I had some idiot (in guess what? A BMW) tailgating me today with about six inches of snow stuck on his windscreen and a letter box strip to see through. Sod that I pulled over , he went flying past and the back windows and mirrors were totally covered.
  17. The other trick with stuck bores is to heat a pan of engine oil till it starts to smoke then pour it down the bores. I've found this to work on various engines and outboards over the years.
  18. WHO DID IT!!!!! :argh: Who went through the bike shed! Com'on outside now!! :box: Day two:Complete breackdown of society.

  23. Welcome to the mad house. Even worse at the moment, one day of snow and cabin fever setting in.
  24. Round here there have been many performances of the BMW ballet and Transit baggatelle has been popular. The super mini hillclimb has attracted some debuties, though the best has been a heavy weight bob sleigh, performed by an artic unit. Still snowing as well.
