  1. I hope to be down and see everyone off at least. Won't be in the Dodge unfortunatley. There should be Tony's (Radar) Model T's down there.
  2. Welcome! The Automobile Association or AA in UK did the same thing. Wonder who had the idea first?
  3. Ignorance takes no prisioners. But neither does over confidence. There but for the Grace of God.
  4. You are very welcome. Axis vehicle owners have thier only little part of the clubhouse. The numbers need swelling.
  5. That's assuming the last crack! Definitley the right choice. Have you got the build card details?
  6. And... The Series 1 round the corner in the last shot. Half the time it's more fun to be at the back of film, than in front watching.
  7. Ferry companies get very ansty over jerrycans, I normally leave the top open. Also would you really like twenty litres of fuel sitting right in the impact zone of a crash? Plus unleaded fuel decays very quickly. Not to mention the story of the lady today decanting fuel. Nah, when mounted on vehicle, show only! As for petrol fuel storage, I've always belived no more than 20 litres may be stored in a purpose built metal container, and 5 litre in a purpose built plastic container. Get Disiel no problems there.
  8. There were at least two vehicles used in the film. One has the side cut out for filming internal shots, one was a modified, either a Chevy or CMP, opinion is very hotly didvided and a straight K2.
  9. The principle works, another air gap can boost the spark. I have one knocking about if you want to try it. I have now got one of Frank Jolley's electronic ignitions in my WC51 and one in post for the WC54. They are known to work.
  10. I've always got kit from Sulters. http://www.sutlers.co.uk/ Before any body starts asking to borrow the suspender belt! I did get a WW2 US Nursing kit female, from them for Carol. Very good quality kit.
  11. Good to know it has found a loving home . How heavy? Just working out if a Dodge can tow it on a trailer.
  12. Hi mike, Andy's aquiruing very modern kit for his tastes isn't he? Be carfull of the ! The 'why don't you help on this event ?' question. You obviously know which end of the spanner fits. You'll find a lot of help here.
  13. Is it French because the guns pointing backwards? :cheesy:
  14. See! Hybrid technology is NOT new! :-D
  15. Eat your greens kid or else...........:-D
  16. Have you been at them funny mushrooms again? Nixwax did have a remarkable opening advert when they stated. A ninteen stone man floating in a Nikwak proofed sleeping bag on top of a seven foot deep pond.
  17. From Sublime to Ridiculous! You'll fit in well mate.
  18. I've used Nikwax products for years. Including the Wax cotton proofer. It is a water based product, easier to apply than the solid stuff. Always found it very effective. Especially if the wax cotton garment has got dry over the yers.
