  1. Yes mate. Just checked manual. Capacitys are in US Quarts, roughly a litre. Transfer box 2, Difs 2 1/4 , Transmission 2 3/4 So 10 litre will do the lot and a bit left over.
  2. I do remember the Q20/50 motor oil TV ads as it happens. :-D My experience has been the 20/50 keeps better presure, especially after long runs in hot weather and the pressure loss recovers quicker when idiling.
  3. Nice collection. Were abouts in NZ are you? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9m8RMHLE4A This may intrest you.
  4. A local saddlers can quite often do canvas repairs.
  5. Straight 90 gear oil NOT the EP90. Easy enough to get hold of, and a US Quart is roughly the same as a litre. Engine oil I use the Halford's 20/50 classic. Valvoline also make a good 20/50. Oil filters Mann P1155 about £3 from my local factor.
  6. Nice little trailer. Any plates on it for manufacturer?
  7. I use the same in both my Dodges, lovley stuff! Worth flushing the MW engine before using the 20/50 . Get rid of the muck before adding a detrgent oil. The flush I use is Forte, not cheap but does the job really well. I flushed out my WC54 with the stuff and then put her over to Halford's 20/50. After a couple of hundred miles the oil is still spotless clean.
  8. If you get over the fact it is the French. Carrying spare bulbs and Hi Vis for breackdown, Hi vis must be put on before getting out of car, warning triangles and fire extingusher , first aid kit, is sensible. (Take out= an extra 4 mpg:D)
  9. Welcome in, nice truck. Any history of it?
  10. By chance I've come into some nice German Binoculars. A pair of 1920's Carl Zeiss Jena 8 x 40 fixed focus. Theses are civillian but lovley optics. The other pair are G Rodenstock Munchen Dienstglas (Service Glasses) 6 x 30 fixed focus marked H/6400 serial 176887. With graticules in the right eyepice 0-40 with in between marks. Can anyone give me info on the second set? Should add, the binos have come in a leather case marked Wollensak, which appears to be an American firm.
  11. Welcome, if you do American I have a number of WW2 pictures.
  12. I'd have mopped her brow anytime! Also do remeber to inform the vehicle insurance company the dates you are away, most don't insit now, but worth doing to make sure. A First Aid is obligatory in France, make sure you know how to use it! I add a small Re Hydration spoon, it measure the correct amount of salt and sugar into a litre of water, useful if you get to much sun, or the drewaded trots.
  13. Welcome in! Got any photos of your collection?
  14. I had to take someone to a French Doctor once. Took one look at her, and we all wanted to go sick! :cool2:
  15. Welcome in. What dates are you looking at?
  16. Favourite French hand signal seems to be Forearm arm raised with clenched fist, other fist in elbow.:-D As far as it goes the twirling arm is for Right hand turn as oposed to left.
  17. Well Sir! He was very taken with Back to the Future II
