  1. Thanks Robert, really appreciate your help. I will give Peter Oliver a try!
  2. Hello, My name is Charles, from Goodwood - I think some of you may remember me from last year! I am looking for drophead British staff car. I have sourced a Humber Super Snipe but need another for a parade at the Goodwood Revival (11-13th September 2016). The only other that I can think of is the Austin 8. I read that Brian Laker might have one and I wonder if I could be put in touch. Unless of course any one knows of more Humbers (drophead). I have tried both IWM and Coventry. Or other staff cars that I haven't mentioned. Thanks for your help. 01243 755037 charles.goddard@gmail.com
  3. Hello, I need a Diamond T and Rogers trailer combo to carry a Churchill Tank in a World War II parade at the Goodwood Revival. Don't suppose you could help could you? Thanks Charles, 01243 755037
  4. Hi Rosie - do you think you could PM an email address and contact details so that I can add you to our database in readiness for invitations etc? Thank you!
  5. Hi Rosie, Thanks for your response. I will be speaking to Big Dave (haven't been able to get hold of him yet) but could you give me some idea of the vehicles you have? I'm new to the Goodwood operation, so please excuse me if you've done this before. I would like to compile a comprehensive list of those people that are interested in being involved. Thank you! CG
  6. Dear All, I hope this isn't a misuse of your forum, but I have an invitation that some of you may be interested in, I hope! My name is Charles, I am a content planner for Goodwood. As part of this year’s Revival we plan to stage a 100 vehicle parade to mark the 75th anniversary of the outbreak of war in 1939. The aim is to bring together an awesome diversity of Allied machinery and personnel to create a memorable moment for visitors and hopefully a fitting tribute to those who sacrificed so much during the conflict. To create a fitting commemoration we hope to gather 100 assorted Allied vehicles. Whilst we already have a significant catalogue of machines that regularly feature at the September event we want even more. If you have a military vehicle we would love to hear about it. It could be anything, maybe a Bedford Tanker, an AEC Ambulance, a Leyland Hippo, an M3 Half-Track or a Daimler armoured car. We’re looking for tanks, motorbikes, loaders, personnel carriers, armoured cars, amphibious craft and plant. We want to celebrate the broad diversity of innovative machinery that was built to answer the demands of the conflict, the remarkable solutions that were found in the drive for victory. Your vehicle will play a prominent role in the Revival entertainment, culminating in a parade around the circuit, complete with World War II reenactors and commentary. The lasting effect of our displays depend on the enthusiasm and passion of its participants and Goodwood prides itself on taking care of its volunteers, to ensure that everyone feels part of the celebration. Kind Regards, Charles charles.goddard@goodwood.com 01243 755037
