  7. I would worry about Powder coating, its porous and anywhere near water it rusts underneath and comes off and may block the radiator etc. Not sure whats the best answer though, maybe stick with the antifreeze anti rust stuff to be safe.
  8. I have a can the same as this and in themselves are quite rare, but could this one have been adapted later for use with an outboard motor? It would have had a pressure bulb in the rubber line.

  10. They rang twice to make an appointment for delivery as its all signed for so I am surprised by that. I was very impressed with the whole service, I hope everyone that bought them gets them delivered as well. Looking for a nice WW1 shell to display it in now.
  11. My Poppy came today from The Tower, I must say the packaging, booklet and certificate is superb, a lovely item. Makes me think just handling it.:-)

  14. Hi All There is a rather nice Scammell S26 on ebay (Item no.321592740569 ) This has a Rolls Royce Engine in and I thought the Military contract had a Cummins engine? My question is, am I right and is this a civvy one or did the Military use both? thanks for any help. Steve

  16. Spotted a Low loader on the A1065 between Swaffham and Fakenham this afternoon with what a first I thought was a Matador but on second thoughts I think it was a Scammell Pioneer? Maybe someone else got a better look or knows about it.

  20. Lucky you, in my last HGV medical I had to ask that my heart be listened to,as the Doc made no attempt to at the time and it was a hundred quid for the medical. ! Hope you get sorted soon.
