its a fixed load on drops body,all hatches are missing but engine and gearbox still there so would make a nice resto project but it probably will be scrapped
had the carbs off today,cleaned decades of crap out the chambers and jets and took her out for another run round the barracks,running better but think the mags need looking at as she,s taking her time to pick up the revs
we are in the process of getting the museums arrv running,changing power packs and gue plus sorting out electrical probs,as we come across them as we what to use it for recovering the other arv"s if they break down plus the fact you can run contam fuel in it
first tractor i learnt to drive was a 754 with no cab then we got a duncan cabbed version,god was it noisy and rattled,then 1164,1174,and last was 1884
can,t see a problem with that,apart from the vehicles john and i will keep running the rest of reserve collection will go into storage at lynham,if ur interested on aug 28th we will have the conq out at slab common and will be bringing the m74 on the amazon
sadly we have been down this route and the answer was NO,john and i will be keeping a few running vehicles at a yet to be annouced place as we havent got the time or resouces to to do all of them as much as we would like to
looks like everything is being moved to raf lyneham,but john and i will be keeping the conq,cent,m74,chietian arrv,amazon and trailer around the bordon area so all is not lost
