got her moved down to the workshop end to start work on her today,engine turns over ok so next job is get rest of engine decks off and check all pipework and radiators ready for fire up

well she,s up and running again with john,s new brain box fitted in and it actualy did some recovery work as well pulling the m74 from its resting place at back of the building will post a link for video when its uploaded on utube

yes they were a matched pair when acquired,and she can pull the girder trailer as well if required but will probably just be used for carrying the m74 when thats done as its a nice small load,as its not as easy to manouver as the contractor which is lower geared.its first job will be to go and pick johns antar up to bring back for restoration for use with the dyson 50 ton trailer.amazon will have just one whoopee light on top of wide load box and trailer has 2 on back end,as they allways go out with escourt vehicle to be safe

i will speak to my friend as he uses a company in the midlands who stock every size you could ever want ,ill post company name here and no -
found the tracks easy to assemble but time consuming and in the process of painting them now using my own made up colours of rust as nothing i,ve seen avalible off the shelf is anything like real life rust.the green is fs 34102,the closest to nato green in my opinion

started work on the old gal today,pulled all the plugs out and tested them,all ok.tipped a bit of paraffin down the bores and let it soak for the week then bar it over next weekend to see if she is all free.then the start of hunting down various bits and pieces that are missing

got it all finished today looks quite smart i think,will put it back together next week and get her outside to take some better pictures
