Hi Guys we all know paint flakes off Galvanised steel, so how should it be done and what products have you used ?
I've checked it out on the internet & no I'm not interested in Hammerite paint, any advise please. :undecided:
Thanks Rick, it came to a bit of a fullstop over the summer due to weather, holidays, other projects & a faulty MIG welder but I have just purchased a new TIG welder so full steam ahead soon with the cab once I've finished the engine rebuild.
Thanks Adrian that confirms it then as Richard also said that on the ML Forum, I'm still confused though how these trailers were wired up & then connected to a vehicle or another trailer :??? any ideas ?
You can still get them on ebay today which is what I do most years but dont pay Paypal and collect at the gate as you might be disappointed.
Got 2 Saturday grandstand tickets worth £100 each last year for £50 the pair on a buy-it-now at 06:00 on the Saturday morning and collected them enroute (well 80 mile detour)
Hi Guy have you had indicator wiring built into your harness ? when I spoke to Autosparks last year they said that they had an origional QL harness as a pattern and they can incorporate alterations such as indicators / stop lights etc into the new harness for about £15 each alteration ??
This is what I'm looking for guys, the trailer socket in black with the screw cap (still dont have a photo of the plug) and the rear light (in red) dont need the convoy light as I already have a few of them.
Hi Ron stop light sounds possible but I wasnt aware that British vehicles/trailers had them fitted in WW2 ?
I already have 3 of the Axle flood lights so I'm ok with them but I need 3 of the small rear lights like the one in your photo if you can help there ?
I also need a photo of the screw thread light if poss ?
