  1. After having seen the finished product in this months CMV, I would just like to say it is good to see that its resto has been completed. However, after having read the article I was left feeling a bit peeved as "Steve" claimed all he had to start with was the engine and chassis. He seems to have forgotten the few hundred quid I spent on getting the engine covers made, the other few hundred on getting the front wings professionally made, not to mention the work that went into the cab, the re-wiring, the brakes overhauled etc. I could go on. Anyway, rant over... :iamsmiling: (Oh and the credit for one of MY photos!)

  13. My eldest Ellie was learning about poachers killing Tigers for their skin at school the other day. She told me how "The vouchers kill Tigers for their skins". My youngest Dan(3) was doing some drawing with me the other day and said "Daddy Im getting a bit infused" instead of confused!

  15. Hi Jack, I know you havent got room for us in the convoy for A+E come the new year , but me and the family would like to come down. From what I know you are going through Maiden Newton VAW and ending up at Dorchester and there has been some talk of having some jeeps buzzing around during the day, especially at Dorchester, from reading other forums. I don t want to tread on any feet, but wondered if there is any way for those of us not being able to take part to add to anything or take part on the periphary? If you know what I mean.
  16. I think I started a thread on this many moons ago, you will have to look for it though!
  17. Cant find the jeeps...:embarrassed:
  18. Fair enough, I understand. If not with the jeep will be there as an observer!
  19. If it has been standing then it could be that the brake bands need working to free them off, I reckon that if he started and drove it round his yard every day everything would start loosening up in the transmission.
