  1. Age is a terrible thing Tony! Thanks for the pic I am missing the footman loops.:tup:: Is it a footman loop at the top as well?
  2. Can someone shed some light on how the axe and shovels straps are arranged on a 42 GPW please. Been trying to work it out from pictures but I cant find anything close enough to shed any light on the subject, and I suspect I should have a couple of holes which are'nt there. Also top bow strap arrangement and jerry can strap. Thanks in advance.

  11. Has anyone fitted a Hen long smoke unit in a Tamiya Tiger before? If so, how do you get around the problem of getting the smoke pipes up the 90 degree bend in the exhaust?

  14. Thanks guys, will replace the bolts with new ones to make sure, and the clamp. Tony, Ive got EI set in the dizzy anyway.
  15. I put a small paint mark on the dizzy housing, the cap and on the block, which when I looked had moved a few degrees clockwise. Moving it back so that the marks lined up it started up ok. Ive got an EI kit fitted. Auto advance mechanism?
  16. In retrospect I dont think the chain did jump, Im sure it was the dizzy moving again. Cant remember why I thought it was the chain jumping...
  17. After a long time trying to get the jeep started after its winter lay up I discovered that the dizzy had jumped a few degrees again. This is despite it being done up tight. Anyone else come across this or is it a common adjustment?
  18. It does make you wonder...employed bidders in the crowd maybe? Be interesting to see if anything comes up for sale again.
