Can someone shed some light on how the axe and shovels straps are arranged on a 42 GPW please. Been trying to work it out from pictures but I cant find anything close enough to shed any light on the subject, and I suspect I should have a couple of holes which are'nt there. Also top bow strap arrangement and jerry can strap. Thanks in advance.
Welcome aboard, as you are both local to me I thought I would plug 1940's weekend at Milton Keynes Museum, September 1st and 2nd, come on down as Leslie Crowther would say,
Has anyone fitted a Hen long smoke unit in a Tamiya Tiger before? If so, how do you get around the problem of getting the smoke pipes up the 90 degree bend in the exhaust?
I put a small paint mark on the dizzy housing, the cap and on the block, which when I looked had moved a few degrees clockwise. Moving it back so that the marks lined up it started up ok. Ive got an EI kit fitted. Auto advance mechanism?
After a long time trying to get the jeep started after its winter lay up I discovered that the dizzy had jumped a few degrees again. This is despite it being done up tight. Anyone else come across this or is it a common adjustment?
