  1. Niiiice, also answers a question about who will take care of export from the US. Although I thought it was not allowed to export mv's from the US now.

  4. It's a small thing I know, no pun intended, but the tyres on scale models never seem to be realistic. In a way that they never appear to be carrying the load and weight of the vehicle represented. Is it just me that thinks that?

  6. I just binned Footman James this year as they were quoting over 5 times previous years, now with Adrian Flux, bit more paperwork but only £15 more than last year. Have you tried NFU?
  7. Have you tried getting in touch with Tobin from on here? He has some of his toys in CMV this month, I know he has made replica barrels etc before for people.
  8. Post war I reckon, thought it may be 11th armoured but the insignia doesnt appear to be a wartime marking. Or indeed a marking of the 11th??

  11. May also be worth doing some sort of search on Flickr? Dont really use it myself, but you can get to ask the photographer for permission to use their pic. If I google earth our village it comes up with photos of various parts, Im fairly sure the photos are flickr related.
  12. It's not often they come around, good ideas that is. Surely if people like ITV and BBC can use google earth images on the news that have a copywright Google Earth logo, the same could be said for whatever you have in mind?

  15. I fitted motorbike indicators under the front wings and under the rear bumper, they are only about an inch across. They are very temperamental though!

  18. Agree with the John Barton guide, I rebuilt a box and trans that I had spare in a day thanks to that guide. Was he the same bloke who done the engine rebuild guide as well?

  20. Condensation/water in the gearbox oil, change the oil.
