    Great pictures. Makes me wonder why they didnt scrap those. They scrapped the Mirus battery and associated guns and they were huge.Any WLF owners out there fancy a challenge? ;-)

    Thats a great site! Ive just lokked at the Karl Gerait (?) big gun diorama. The detail on that is hugely impressive!

    Not sure if this would be on the right topic, but Im having a long afternoon! You have HMVF TV, what about streaming radio station, HMVHF! I dont know how it works, but theres plenty of streaming radio stations on the net. You could have its content as not just maybe hourly music shows- George Formby, the washboard years, but interviews, show walkabouts when they start again, historical articles, people talking through vehicle repairs etc etc. The more I think about it, the more I like it... Jack........Jaaaaaack........ :goodidea:

    Incredible bit of video, people do the strangest things. I believe it is powered by a Rolls Royce Nimbus engine and is directly linked to the gearbox rather than thrust driven, I could be wrong, see for yourself. :schocked: :shake:

    We're not that barbaric! We can do most of the bodywork on site ,(the benefits of being a vehicle repair workshop!), the only bit so far that has been shipped out for fabrication is the scuttle cover which is a very long piece and has been reinforced.

    The cabs, from what I gather are the most prone to rot. Most of it is fairly straightforward. The tricky bit will be getting the sides right, but Ive got a man whos a dab hand whos fairly nifty with some tinsnips and a welder helping.

    That really depends on wether or not I do things like get a fully recon engine, or decent second hand one. Do I get a new bodytub at £1,200 or try and find a halfway decent original to weld up. Including the original chassis purchase, I certainly dont expect to see much change from about £4,000, but I'm going to keep a close record on what I spend on this, so we shall see!
