  3. you thinking of getting one the data plate is on the left side of the fighting compartment wall about 12" down from the centre of the turret ring and is a flat plate about 6"x3" rick
  4. i feel for you with that engine, i'm having a flathead rebuilt and it's costing me a small fortune but if it's any consolation i've always thought that if you do it right first time you never have to do it again. hey! it's only money rick

  10. last year i dragged a couple of other fella's off the forum to go and have a look for the other tank but after a days search in the most likely areas we found nothing, which isn't surprising as the trees were planted very close together and you can only see a few feet, on the bright side it looked like they were clearing the forest so it might turn up one day soon. the kids that saw the tank described it as the "one with the small turret" maybe a covenanter ? i hope somebody finds it and restores it rick

  19. that will be the post war mods coming off, like the tow bracket and exhaust fishtails on the back and the tow rope stowage brackets on the front but apart from that, nothing to report rick
  20. nothing to report i'm afraid, we're still waiting to get the hull blasted and painted then things can start to move on again. rick
  21. alastair i have all the bits you need as i am toying with the idea of a loyd myself as you know, having said that it will be many years before it ever gets started so if you really are struggling then you can have a dig thru my stuff and help yourself to whatever you need just remember to send me a xmas card rick
