2. Some guys found this brick by an old airfield in Malaysia and has an arrow on it so it's assumed it's an Army brick I wonder when the arrow, or what we called a crowsfoot mark strted and who uses it etc? Or could this be a convict marking? I know UK and Australia still use the arrow or crowsfoot on just about everything. I can't recall it on American stuff and it predates NATO So in summary anyone see a brick like this, and or know the arrow crowsfoot history?

13. What about two one inch plates with 3 or 4 holes in them couple of inch and a half bolts and use a big spanner and bar to tension it up then a bit of heat?? Just thinking you could keep it tensioned up with the heat on or off and or leave it under tension. You could use an impact driver if the bolts and nuts are good quality.

Safety

As safety is a hot topic again, I thought you would like these, I was forwarded today: "GPS was placed in its bracket in the windshield and left in the sun. The battery overheated and exploded!" Ok not going to happen in the UK, but we must remember this is an international forum :-D
19. Any of these survive?
20. complancency is the big killer so threads like this are good memory joggers I was reading somewhere not so long back of a guy using old fuel in a spray gun to clean parts and I used to do this years ago with AVGAS. When you think about it, gasoline in a fine mist form all over the place just takes one spark What I really hate is when you think to yourself, "if I slip, this is going to f''king hurt" then you slip. I try to remember to listion to those thoughts
21. If you want it let me know as I think I will be in Cambridge in October.
