  1. The material it's made from? Looks like some sort of ceramic to me.
  2. I have a 58 pattern long sleeping bag, that's been in the shed for a while, and got a bit mouldy. What is the best/easiest way to remove it?
  3. Different Google search brought up this. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kalglas-1mm-PVC-flexible-window-plastic-Crystal-clear-/260792535676
  4. Bob, all I can think of is vehicle canvas or soft top manufacturers, they would use something similar for the windows.
  5. I have had a root in the shed, I've got the trumpet lenses and complete lamp units, my Martian has these lamps fitted too. So I got some whenever I could. Let me know which you want.

  12. Hi Bill, exactly as John says, dieselised ones are out there, but not many. Some conversions have had to radically change the front end, mainly lengthen the front end.
  13. Got to add this to the gallery. Buckdales FV1103, The Animal. Going by the chassis plate, the 30th off the production line.
  14. Great show, marvellous weather, good turn out of vehicles, pics of some of the vehicles on show. A couple of lovely K2's. Bedford, Mercedes, Sumb & Scammell. Leyland Hippo & Berliet. The Animal :-) Some going around the arena.
  15. Chris, that's about as far as I got too, would be nice to actually determine which artillery piece they fit, and possibly thence find them a new home. I did have suspicions that the lever is for the 5.5", but not 100% sure. Also got these rubbers too, which I think are for the FH70, but which bit?
  16. Likely to be Sunday for me, think weather should be dry and cloudy, will hopefully find time to say hello. Simon,
  17. Just wondering if anyone is off to Rushden show this weekend. Hoping to visit, but don't know which day i shall be going yet.
  18. Forgot to add these. No part numbers on packet, just the MM1151 DPL 1954 stamped on them.
  19. I've had these bits for a while now, tripping over them, moving them, asking them what they are for, they never did answer, if they did :nut::nut::nut:. Now can anyone help place these items. I'm blooming sure they are artillery related, (big guns) but for what? First up, a large lever. 0-1020-99-963-4091. A plunger,1020-99-963-4193. Other number: 0MM418SA A small lever, 1020-99-963-6304. Other number:0MM866. Arc? 1020-99-963-6419. Other number:0MM145A. Lastly this, Dashpot final runout recoil system??? All help appreciated, as they've been bugging me for ages......
  20. Ideal snow clearing machines :nut:
  21. At my local post office, all one needs now is the reminder, as MOT and insurance details now all online, makes it easy especially when you misplace paperwork!
  22. Fuel tank caps, could they not be red for petrol vehicles, and yellow for diesel vehicles, to avoid some oik filling with the wrong fuel? Probably a load of bull but sounds feasible.
