    Try a search for Belling Lee fuses, I think they were quite possibly the original manufacturer. I've a couple each of 2 and 4 amp in that size. Some listed on ebay.

    I have lurking in the shed some oddities. Firstly a couple of webbing type straps. Can make out the VRN 01 FD 25 and 4 troop. Certainly for an armoured vehicle but CVRT or MBT, and for what actual purpose? Also, might be an easier one. These two aluminium flasks, are they early AFV issue? No apparent military markings of any kind.

    Hi Nic, might be worth trying a little heat on the endcaps, just enough to expand them slightly, then tapping around the cap with a hammer to loosen the thread. Depending on what you use to heat it, heat gun or gas flame, there may be a risk of fire, depending on how much fluid inside. They've been on for a few years so probably just tight, shouldn't be any corrosion.

    Think there are a few on ebay, failing that, scrapyards may turn up the odd thing, don't see many new bits.

    I would say they will all be the same right handed thread, after all, the rims themselves are not handed, any wheel could go on any corner, unless the tyres have a specific directional rotation.

    I went over just for a nose around, got a few lots, Jerry Cans and some sidelights, and a box of assorted stuff I haven't really looked through yet. I sort of gave up and left just after the Saladin went under the hammer, courtesy of the great British weather. The armour looked in good nick, some of the soft skin vehicles looked to be in need of a bit of TLC. Think prices will be available on the Cheffins website in due course.

    On the switchboard front, the vinyl letters are the best way to go, rewired, new oil and main lenses, placed next to an NOS unit, looks just as good, well chuffed with it. Also messing around with an instrument panel too, a good clean up, repaint the bezel, new RPM and speedo dials. I have found a spray over of vinyl and plastic cleaner on the dial faces brings the dirt off, and gives them a almost new look again. Stainless 2BA setscrews finish the front off nicely.
