I did not notice that Tony, i had the print taken from a slide this has happened to me on a few occasions, usual thing at the photo developers give it to jack the lad to do and obviously cant read the wording view this side cheers Les -

This convoy is marked up in Nato colours so presume the pig is also painted white. Second photo taken in Famagusta in 1963 is with 9th Independant Parachute SQDN

Blimey Tony cant believe how she has fallen apart in that space if time heres a photo of the year you had her up and running and well restorable at the time. Also attached a new conversion at the Vass yard this one with a TFL crane mounted -

Rick, the car is a bit of a weirdo i would think of German origen this is followed by a Ford WOT 15cwt and Diamond T 980 or 981 towing a Dyson 40 ton trailer, i cant make out the tracked vehicle on the back as it has a cover over it

Are you volunteering then Catweazle, interesting to see the Ben Hur trailer behind the QL i have a few BAOR shots from this period with this trailer in British servivce it wouldbe interesting to find out where the stocks originated from

Have to agree the scout car conversion is something else i have quite a bit on halftrack signals conversions but this is the first scout car conversion i have seen in BAOR, did your father take more of the truck based wirless vehicles. Thanks for sharing them with us all and the quality of the photos is pretty good, its getting me fired up to build a model of it to go with my early 50s british models thanks Les

not good on Russian tanks but think its a T34/76 the gun is a 3.7 heavy anti aircraft gun and looks like a Bloodhound missile behind, whats all the stone work for ammunition?:cool2:

these might help riverman proof of the use by the Polish, afraid the markings are not to clear but i have colour charts with markings very much on British designs if can fathom out which is which The truck in the river bed is serving with the 6th sappers company the others are with 23rd transport company -
Dodge VK60 crew bus with roundal on the off side and bridge plate 6 on the near, number is RAF 31496 and on the off side bumper it appears to read B/3, Interesting array of vehicles in the background, the K6 bomb flat has the roundal and bridge plate the opposite way round

its a Leyland retriever the panel cab has been added in its civlian life and i think that is the later model radiator fitted only a few survive so well worth the effort of someone to save it or will those interested be up against the head banging brigade
