    I have had this photo of a Dyson semi trailer for some years now and have found it a bit of a mystery, it was trialed by the MOD but did it enter into a production run as i have not seen a photo of one in service in this guise. It is possible that alterations were carried out to it but all those round perforations in the ramps and blocks look unusual

    I always find this photo pleasing Unipower badges Scammell S24 bridging truck, look at the size of those boots. I am aware that some wreckers were sold in the middle east but did the bridging truck seen here gain any sales abroad

    I took this shot at Duxford, it must have been a few years ago as i have not been to the show for a long time

    Jerry They are Magirus Deutz tractor units and on the left is a further Magirus A3500 3 1/2 ton truck and just poking its nose in on the left a Ford 3 ton, many of these types were issued to the RAF in Germany in the 1950/60 period

    As a old Lydder i was told lots of stories about the locaters and we also used to walk out to them as kids and see how far we could run up the curve before sliding back, there is also one on the roughs at Palmarsh visable from the A259 and as i type this i can see it from the study window. Exciting life we lead here eh!
