Penman Trailer Handbrake

Surveyor

Question

Being more used to getting someone to help but trying to advance my skills.

I have a Penman trailer where the hand brake handle has been bent, see picture, I have a new unissued one to replace it, prior to dismantling it I would ask HOW, yes the bolt at the fulcrum point needs taking off , its the bit hidden i.e. the release button and cable, how do you remove it and then fit in the new handle.

Any idiots guide would be appreciated.

I have already changed the jockey wheel handle in case any one notices.

You could try Penman:-

If no success with Penman and no replies from other forum members, you may find a diagram of a similar hand brake lever if you search "hand brake lever assembly diagram" e.g.:-

thanks, the later diagram helps, just need to think about going slowly ahead
