The fuel system is a closed loop with fuel coming from the tank and circulating back again, so provided the lift pump has been running for a minute or so there will always be fuel in the lines. If you'd switched on, left the engine for a minute and then hit the starter I bet she'd have fired up first time. I've had problems with the emergency stop cable sticking on occasions, but the engine will always fire immediately after it's been returned.
Aha - that'll be FV622351, "Adaptor, Towbar, Vehicular; Hollebone Drawbar, 7-1/12 in. Approx lg (alternative:- Adaptor for "A" Frame, FV430 series)" then? :-)
Well done Mark - I too had looked at Dave's ARRV as it was only just up the road, but decided it was simply too big and the stories about mechanical reliability put me off. What other MV manual specifies the rpm at which various bits will self-destruct? :-(

If someone can give me an FV number for the wheels and/or number of bolt holes I'll take a look next time I'm there, if you like? He might not necessarily know what vehicle they're from anyway.

They're a scrap dealer in St Mary Bourne, just outside Andover (UK). Google lists their number as +44 1264 738397, give them a ring and ask for Neil Hirst. Hope that helps!

It's the stuff that came out of the barrel but didn't cause enough recoil to allow the sear to catch that caused the real problems. Full auto even with single shot selected ... Andy
Some FV436s have generators too. However, what are you trying to generate - 28V DC or 230V AC? A common or garden FV432 will give you 200A at 28V DC.

Has anyone else just started having a problem where the "Page X of Y" box at the bottom right-hand of the page is overlaid by the advertisement below it? This happens with Firefox 5 on both Fedora and XP.

Agreed - it's the web side of things that lets it down. The format is wrong (essentially portrait when everyone has a landscape format screen) and it needs options for numbers and sizes of thumbnails as well as a slideshow. Not hard to fix - you just need to use a better backend presentation/viewing engine. There's lots of different ones around.
