Went browsing through a model shop at lakeside today and saw the following items in 1/76th scale from Airfix that I'd not seen before:

 

LWB Landrover (Soft Top) & Trailer (A02322) £5.19

LWB Landrover (Hard Top) & Trailer (A02324) £5.19

Landrover 1 Tonne FC Truck GS Bdy (A02331) £5.19

Landrover 1 Tonne FC Ambulance (A02333) £5.19

 

L118 105mm Light Gun (A02332) £5.19

 

Saladin MkII Armoured Car (A02325) £5.19

Saracen APC Mk 1/2/3 (A02328) £5.19

 

Bedford MK.4 Tonne Truck (A02326) £5.19

Bedford MK T. A. R. (A02329) £5.19

 

For the Fearless Leader there was also:

GMC 353 Truck (A01323) £4.21

(might be less trouble than the real thing!!)

 

Sadly no Stalart in the ALvis range so I'll have to wait for the KFS 1/24th scale edition coming out in January/Feb 2009- price now announced at £219... :shake:

Seen that one Lee - very nice; there is also the firing Line one in 1/35th too (which I've sort of got - was about 75% finished and then the wide decided to start moving things around..... :shake:)

Neil Airfix purchased the moulds and rights from JB models. Many if not all the JB originals can still be purchased often at bargain prices on e bay

Neil, in 1/76 scale BW models produce the MK1 stalwart and MK2 with crane kit nos BW17 and BW18. Also in the range are the Salamander kit BW30 and the MK2 reef rescue unit RAF Gan kit BW110 in addition are 4 models of the Saracen 6x6 all in white metal they can be a little fiddely at times but the end results are good

Thanks Les - will have a nose at these!! Salamander could be nteresting too. Would be nice to lay the hands on one of these for real to have all 4 of the Alvis 6x6 family down at the Fort!!

Hi Les do you buy yours direct from BW or can you recommend a dealer !Their website seems to be malfunctioning at the moment ! :-D

Anyone know if there is a 1/35 101 Ambulance?

I deal direct with BW as far as i know Barry only sells this way if the site is playing up you can always ring him with a order, Tony a guy in wales i believe produces a resin 1/35 101 but not sure if its the GS or Ambulance i will see if i can find any details

someone I spoke to the other day is building a model 101 at the moment I will speak to him after christmas and find out the make and scale etc
