How do I change a thread title

At the top of your post is THREAD TOOLS go into that and click on EDIT THREAD.

nothing major got the wrong date on a "THIS DAY" post should be 10th Aug 1897 not 19th August 1897

As originator of the thread he may have been able to do it himself simply by editing the title field of the original message (as per other message board software) unless the forum fascisti (no offence intended) have tailored this out.

 

I notice that the Title field is editable by me as I sit here composing a reply, but fear that if I do, because we are mid-thread, it will cause strange things to happen so I shall keep my fingers off.
