Hi All,

I am a fellow war machine enthusiast and came across this discussion group on Olive-drab.com and thought I would check it out.

Every spare moment of my time is working with military vehicles in some way. I have allot of MV pics from places I have been and you can read my MV Journal. Feel free to use the comment feature on my blog. For some reason no one ever has.

I have owned quite a few MV's as of late. Most recent is a M 2-4 and M 3-4. Then I picked up a really cool M-37 command truck. Currently I am messing with a near all original M274-A5. I have never owned one before and have to say it is the first I will keep forever. What a fun platform vehicle. They are all pictured in my blog as well.

Let me know if there is anything I can do for you in the United States.

Welcome to the Forum sounds like a resource that we will all be checking out and using soon. One can never have to many sites to locate parts or if need be to sell a bit here and there .

I know that we will all be interested in any photo's you might like the post here as well.

My Father and his good friend and I all brought the following along with quite a few 1000 rounds

HK51 (My Favorite)

Thompson

Ak47

Ak74

MP40

8mm 1919 Browning

37mm towed anti tank gun.

This February we are doing another shoot that will be a night time tracer shoot. We will have plastic pipes filled with propane for targets and two rounds of open fire. IAWCA (Idaho Automatic Weapons Collectors Association) does a bang up job. I would anyone to come visit and see the spectacle.

Here are pics from last years shoot.

I must say Idaho is pretty awesome. We have one of the US's best mountain ranges with endless recreation. We have a sage desert in the south that has a few spots of dunes and some of the best ski hills and lakes around.

Idaho's recreation and guns laws are very loose, which makes a great combo for people who love military vehicles and guns.

Any most any citizen can own a machine gun for a 200.00 fee and you can drive you MV's around with a yellow/orange triangle slow moving sign without to much trouble.

I hope to make it over there to see all the sites.

Thanks Joris!

The people here are great so far. I am on other forums that are full of salty dogs and trolls.

Speaking of fun, check out this video I made of our most recent shoot. We brought a 37mm towed cannon as well  It is a little long but fun to watch. The guy on the browning in the beginning is my dad.

This year I plan on doing a few MV trials videos. My first attempt will be to take a loaded Mule into the back country and run it through all types of terrain.
