Tony B
What voltage? 12 volt are no problem, 6 volt try classic motorcycle outlets, they often have them.
ghasp!
The ones that I took out were french 6V (both blown). Now the question is, having what looks a 12V battery on the truck did the last owner put the wrong bulbs on it? :dunno: Any advice on how I check? Jack
hi Ghasp. Are these sealed units?
ghasp!
The bulbs that I'm looking to replace I've taken out of the headlights, they're not a sealed unit. They have a main beam and dipped element, with three connections at the back and fit into a bayonet socket again with three pins. Does that sound familiar? :dunno: They look very French (i.e. Yellow glass).

If you wanted 6v then I have some here and will pop them in the post with my compliments but we need to know what the voltage is first of all.
Tony B
Stick a meter on the battery if there is no writing on it. Assuming the thing runs start up then check what the genny is throwing at the battery.
