trevor pitman
Found this `heavy iron` at the weekend at a vehicle show in France. The show had no programme and I could not find anyone to ask. Can anyone tell us more?
David Herbert
Could this be the one that lived at Duxford up to about 25 years ago. That one was owned by a (film hire?) company known as Bapty (or similar) at the time and was in the film The Dirty Dozen. There are not many 12 ton half tracks around. jdmcm
I could be totally wrong on this, but I want to say that the Dirty Dozen halftrack eventually made its way to the Littlefield collection in the US, and was sold at the auction following the donation of the collection to The Collings Foundation...feel free to correct me on this, not positive at all John
Richard Farrant
Maybe it is the vehicle in this link; http://www.indianaeconomicdigest.net/main.asp?SectionID=31&SubSectionID=135&ArticleID=67692
earlymb
I think this is Dainler-Benz Fahgestellnumber 441246, but I'm not 100% sure. It is listed (with a different reg number) on http://the.shadock.free.fr/Surviving_SdKfz8_SdKfz9.pdf
