Lord Burley
I attended the small gathering of MV,s in attendance at the Royal Chelsea Hosp today, home of the Chelsea pensioners. This event has been run by the NLBA for a number of years now and what a nice day it was, which included a lunch, cheap drinks from the bar. With nice surroundings, and even a trip to the National Army Museum next door to see the new Iraq/Afganistan exhibition.Which now has one of the latest generation Wolf CAV (snatch) LandRovers on display outside.Unfortunatley,i dont have a pic of this as in my haste to leave this morning i forgot my camera so had to rely on a mobile phone. The (snatch)didnt come out as i forgot to save it,but will go back at a later date to get a pic as im only a 3 miles away from the museum.Sorry for the quality of the following pics. http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l38/BLUETHUNDER_06/DSC00239.jpg[/img] http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l38/BLUETHUNDER_06/DSC00238.jpg[/img] Unusual rear body.http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l38/BLUETHUNDER_06/DSC00236.jpg[/img] http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l38/BLUETHUNDER_06/DSC00234.jpg[/img] http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l38/BLUETHUNDER_06/DSC00233.jpg[/img] http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l38/BLUETHUNDER_06/DSC00231.jpg[/img] Kevins well travelled Ferret. http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l38/BLUETHUNDER_06/DSC00230.jpg[/img] A rather tasty MUTT.http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l38/BLUETHUNDER_06/DSC00229.jpg[/img] http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l38/BLUETHUNDER_06/DSC00228.jpg[/img] http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l38/BLUETHUNDER_06/DSC00224.jpg[/img] And finally my trusty 101 http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l38/BLUETHUNDER_06/DSC00225.jpg[/img] http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l38/BLUETHUNDER_06/DSC00220.jpg[/img]

abn deuce
What does the crank couple to ?since the hole in the bumper is offset or does it connect to the engine some other way ? the 101 looks like it would have great visability in all kinds of terrain. I wonder how it would handle a snow plow ?
Lord Burley
Your looking at the wrong hole.lol.The hole you are loking at is for the fittment of a winch, which works off the transfer box.If you look at the middle of the bumper, and just under the lip,you will see a small hole there where the handle fits. This in turn, fits in to and end on the front of the crank pulley.
