CudaJimmy
Someone want to enlighten me? I think it's an Austin Champ.....What's it worth? Did I get raked over the coals? http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a326/cudajimmy/mysterywagon.jpg[/img]
Mark
Austin Champ and depends how much you paid for it.
Simon Daymond
and be positive, the tyres are only flat on the bottom :-)
sirhc
Correct, it's a Champ. Whats it worth? I'd say £200-300 or so if it's complete. There's a lot of work there, and lots of non standard bits. Try http://www.austinchamp.com Chris
Rick W
One on ebay recently struggled to get £350, it was in slightly better condition.
Markheliops
Austin Champ - With what I can only describe as a hideous customised roll cage - never seen anything like that before. It deserves to be cut off and buried. Oh, why do people do things like that. If it's complete, give it a sand blast, coat of paint and bob's your uncle. :-D Oh, and don't forget to lose the horrible roll bar. Rick W
Does it run? Whats the story??
Mark
Introduce yourself and tell us about it and how you came by it. :-D
Jonny666
why o why that roll cage!!! talk about bodge job! parts are cheap-ish for champs from what i have seen so its an easy-ish job to restore
fv1609
Not a fan of the roll cage I must admit, but maybe this was used for 'off-roading fun' rather than owned by a MV enthusiast? Many years ago someone I know witnessed his friend die at an AWDC event when his Champ overturned & crushed him.
ferret1958uk
I would say you got done, purely because the front tyre is bald. It will clean up very well with an anglegrinder on the roll cage.
Chrisg
Have you got a chassis number on it?
