The Inniskillings Museum has a 1974 series 3 half ton landrover (02GB74) and they have this under the bonnet. Is there any way it could be original? wally dugan Posted February 21, 2016 Share Posted February 21, 2016 ROBIN 02 GB 74 was part of the collection at the museum of army transport the issue voucher number was RV 106 AND ITS transfer number was T 216 l fitted a replacement gearbox the AUTO ARC was fitted by the army for trials but was not adopted Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Robin When I was at Chertsey in the mid-80s I saw a Landrover with a similar system fitted, which was being evaluated. I wasn't involved with it myself and finished my service shortly after, so I don't know what was the outcome and whether the system went into service, but there was at least one fitted to an army Landrover.
