andym
Can someone please confirm my belief that the HF versions of the Mk. 31 antenna bases don't use the spacer with the builtin transformer? Andy
gordonb
Correct. The aerial bases are the same for HF or VHF. it is just that for VHF they have the matching section (an auto-transformer) underneath which is fed by 50 ohm co-ax cable. For HF it is fed by ordinary single strand wire. gmb
