Wanted a Fordson Thames ET military

Its A 4X4 conversion of a 1950's civilian Fordson Thames ET truck, it was never in service with UK forces, would have only been built in small numbers for foreign armies, doubt if any survive

Only the stock 4x2 Fordson ET truck was used by the Civil Defence Corp, quite a few examples are in preservation

The British Army did have long wheelbase Fordson ET 4x2 3 ton GS cargo trucks, in the same class as the 1950's Bedford OL and Austin Loadstar
