Homer_J
Hello I'm Kevin and I'm a tankaholic. Thanks for having me here, I am not actually involved in restoring or running any historical vehicle apart from visiting various events, taking photographs, and generally being jealous. What brought me here was this thread about the M10 which was for some time part of a play area at a retail park. I have to put my hand up to being one of those little darlings who crawled all over it. In my defence I have to say I never believed it was a real tank, I mean who would butcher a real, actual tank to use in a children's playground? I do have a rather blurry picture with several young oiks hanging off it but it might not be for the squeamish. It was fantastic to read about it being restored to running condition and hopefully I might get to see it again sometime.

Tony B
Can you see something like that now? Elf ad Aftey would be have fits over sharp edges and 'Hard Surfaces' , not to metion the lead based paint. Far better to have it running. Homer_J
Thanks for the welcomes. Welcome on, I seem to remember lots of Steam Rollers in playgrounds as a kid Indeed I remember crawling through the firebox of the one in Pudsey, which is also in the process of being restored.
