Rick W
I have seen a couple of photos in books with mini crawlers, could possibly be Cletracs being unloaded from aircraft. Does anyone know if there was a military contract for these and any pics would be interesting to see?
Hair Bear
Interested to see the photos - if they're really small they could be Ransomes, 6' long, 3' wide, and about 10cwt. Have seen a couple of these in RAF markings. This one is about 1938. Not mine, so can't be sure.
Lauren Child
If they are being unloaded from aircraft you may be thinking of the Clarke CA-1 air portable bulldozer?
Rick W
Page 81 Wartime Jeep in British Service, there is one reversing out of a glider. I have seen the big Cletracs in service but not until I saw this was I aware of the mini crawlers.
