PetOp Pete
Not the North of England, but Canada, the traditional frozen north. But I believe you've had more snow days than we have this winter. Canada (I'm in Ontario to be precise) is probably not the best place to be if you have an interest in British militaria, but like the saying goes, no matter where you are there you are. And I shall forever be kicking myself for not acting on my interest before I left Old Blighty in '96. Basically my interests are broad enough that I can't be called a collector in any one field but most of what fascinates me is the history and evolution of specific technologies. At the moment I am trying to learn about NATO uniforms of the Vietnam War era. Therefore my first posts will probably be questions about the 1960 and 1968 Pattern British uniforms and how to acquire examples (without getting caught up in ebay bidding frenzies). Cheers, Peter

snowtracdave
Welcome to The Forum Peter . That's a beautiful part of the world you've chosen to live in , we were nearby last year (relatively speaking!) visiting friends who moved out there and now live in Canmore . bonnie_scott
Greetings, and welcome forum the 'true' frozen North :-) According to Google, the latitude of Ontario is 50.7 Deg. N (Toronto being 43.64 Deg. N) , and Wick here in the North of Scotland is 58.45 Deg. N Julian
