ward la france trouble light socket

can anybody help me i am trying to sort out some wiring on a ward la france m1a1 i have found the locations of the trouble light sockets but have know idea what they look like has anybody got any on there vechiels that they could post a picture on here for me to look at it would be very helpfull

Hi Jake,

 

Please pass in my apologies to Kevin for not sending these sooner. I'm posting them here for future reference.

 

The top side of the socket housing has two screw conenctions; one is intact and can be seen, the other has corroded and the wire has become disconnected. The socket is secured to the bumper gusset with a pair of 1/4" UNC nuts and bolts. The cover is just a simple rubber thingy.

 

The socket type is familiar to me but I cannot think where from. Maybe the guys in the US can identify it?

Apologies for the poor photos but it's a tiny thing in a poorly lit location.

hi mike

 

i passed the information to kevin for you

 

kevin has been very busy at moment

 

but he has had a look at your photos on here

 

and he has found the other location of the rear socket

 

on the rear cross member looking down on right hand side

 

many thanks for your help

 

but the weather is very frustrating every time we open the tool box the skies open and the rain come down :banghead:
