holte999
Hi, a couple of questions about registering a vehicle to be tax exempt. Does this club provide 'A verification letter from an approved club (MVT/IMPS) to prove the age' ? If so how does the system work ? If not, are you aware of any clubs that do ? Many thanks Stewart. Adrian Barrell
I think you've answered your own question, MVT and IMPS are approved clubs, there may be more that have had success with the DVLA but those two are your best bet.
Tony B
In the case of IMPS, if you are a member, take a lot of photos and a rubbing of the chassis number then contact the vehicle oficer.
berna2vm
IMPS were brilliant and incredibly helpful. I could not praise them highly enough :-).
Big ray
If you are a member of the MVT, then the service is free, I believe that none members have to pay a £40.00 charge?. Just check the MVT web page, all the information is displayed on there. (If you are not a member, membership I believe will be cheaper than the non-member verification charge.) Good luck.
