M.Rimmer Posted June 21, 2011 Share Posted June 21, 2011 (edited) The attached photo was taken in on Jubilee Road in Barmouth,West Wales during WW2,exact date unknown. The soldiers are said to belong to 164 OCTU which was based in the town during the war. Is there any way of uncovering any history of the Carrier from it's number? also can any of the Carrier experts confirm which model it is?. Thanks, Matt. It's a shame we can't see any unit markings,although the men probably belonged to the OCTU there were a number of units based around here(hard to believe this now,Barmouth is the chav's seaside holiday choice!).
