Saracen history

okay can anyone confirm the age of my Saracen, who do i contact at the army these days for the details...

 

My Saracen is 24 PA 25 mk5 d.

 

You sure that shouldn't read 24 BA 25? Would be more consistent with the age of the vehicle: I think others younger than me will tell you the Army never got up to PA. But I could be wrong as usual.

must use glasses and use daylight to check vin plates...the number is 84BA25...which seems to make it out as a mk2 but I cannot confirm this, it was upgraded in 1974...is that about right..I have told Bovingdon and hope to have it sorted now.

Doing a web search the registration 84BA25 suggests you have a Saracen Mk5 APC???? How does that figure....
