British proper name "Ordnance Quick-Firing 6-pounder 7 cwt, to give it its full name" Probably the MkII , although will go for Mk1 My money say American 57mm because gun does not have a muzzle brake. Is that the caster I see in the trailer, and a socket for it on RH Trail? Then can I go for 57mm M1 on M2 carraige. Yes ,its a 1945 57mm M2 Anti-Tank gun,Built by International. This one has come from warmer climates and I have been waiting its arrival for quite some time but now its here. I believe its the most complete and original example at present in the UK,The gun is complete with its jocky wheel,side armour,makers plates,handspikes and sight assembly. Its that original I have decided not to restore it at present ,so I managed to build it up this afternoon and tuck it away before the heavens opened. The gun is in remarkable unmolested condition so I have it on section 1. Rob........................rnixartillery.
