0 Gordon_M
Lincon (note the spelling ...) will do dry-charged by post with little hassle, I beieve it is the same sized unit for jeep and Dodge at 6 volt.

0 Jeff Glasser
just thought I'd sing Lincons praises on the subject. They supplied me with a battery/acid combination for my jeep a few months back. Curing in one go my starting problems. They were most helpful, and I thought the price for the high performance battery including delivery was very good value.
0 REME 245
Any good high street tyre/battery dealer will order you in a 6 volt battery. If you want some thing that looks period you will obviously have to go to a specialist dealer.
0 Chris Warne
I can praise Lincon in Essex aswell. They do 'correct appearance' hard rubber cased batteries and I've had a 6v for the MB and a 140Ah 6V for the GMC off them - very good quality products. I've heard recommendations on the Optima range, but the 6v offering is only 40Ah so not enough 'muscle' in my opinion. I guess it depends if you want your battery to look 'period' or not. 0 Tony B
The ideal would be a long storage one. The cheapest I've seen so far is this place: http://www.alpha-batteries.co.uk/buy-online/classic-6v-car-batteries/pair-of-6v-type-421-classic-car-batteries/prod_76.html
