chevpol Posted September 27, 2009 Author Share Posted September 27, 2009 ended up at Manchester Airport instead (civvys not really my cup of tea) Vulcan sales tent there, got talking, and they said that she was due to do a flyby today at 1610!!!!!! So saw the Vulcan flying!!!! (last time was in the late '80s!) Strangest thing, when she was due, obviously Air Traffic stopped take offs and landing, a lot of ground crew vehicles where lining the taxiways, police around, and a hush decended over the airport, very strange feeling!!!
