  1. Have a before/after photo of a Bren T&E that I tried my first electrolysis session on. 4 hours in a bucket with a battery charger, big spoon of soda and an old iron bar. WD40 once it was dried off.
  2. I third it, also just started and can't believe how easy/cheap it is with excellent results.
  3. £92 here with Cherished with £12K agreed valuation.
  4. These guys did mine... http://www.noostadirect.com/
  5. You are correct it's in the small print that as soon as we leave the EU we can sell old spec deacts again, does not help the dealers who have current stock etc, or anyone that needs to sell in the meantime.
  6. Hi Bryan I will pop up & collect as per email. Thanks Dan
  7. Looks like a K98 cleaning kit to me
  8. Yes, just put in a standard variation with covering letter, I expect you will have to store the breech block. My mate has a 120mm Mobat on FAC, just no rounds.
  9. Fantastic photos, have you been up lately to take any more ?
  10. Too late now but if you remove the retaining pin the 7.62 feed guide comes off, would save having to cut the mount.
  11. Hammer just went, £19250 if I heard right (plus 10% & VAT) so over £21500 !!!!!
  12. It was a superb day in the end, hope you all got in ok, did anyone get any photos ?
  13. Hammer frozen sausages into the earth around the stuck wheels, overnight animal activity should free it up a bit.
  14. It was 10 deep at the arena fence Friday, no way could you see anything through that lot, heaving...
  15. I had good results with Plasti-Kote white matt spray from Screwfix, just do many light coats.
  16. Hi Neil, I have a belt of .50 inert rounds, £3 per linked round, drop me an email.
  17. Got to be a BESA in 7.92 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Besa_machine_gun
  18. Update from the GTA - looks serious, expect a huge surge in buying old spec deacts. So much for sticking up for the UK collectors
  19. We are up in Kitchener's field and it's rammed, it was nowhere near that busy last year or the year before. Weds night the bloody Germans were having a Karaoke till 4am but since then it's been ok, the portaloos are brilliant but the loos in the grandstand were unfortunately overflowing. OP Stack traffic diversions added 2 hours to my arrival so I can imagine it will kill the public footfall. Loads of friendly EU traders who know the GBP/EUR rate so but still plenty of sellers with no prices :undecided: and no-one available to discuss/haggle so I can imagine they don't sell a lot. Living history displays still outstanding, definitely worth a day walking round the whole site to take it in.
