  8. To shrink wet canvas, it needs to be dried with a hairdryer rather than just being left to dry out. It may take more than one wetting and drying to shrink to a tight fit.

  20. As the Grace's Guide for Dashwood is dated 1939 and looking at the range of products that they were making then, it is likely to be the same Dashwood making trailers in 1944. Also, I doubt that there would be 2 engineering companies called Dashwood.
