A dive-bombing Lancaster based at Duxford, it was news to me when I read the article in 2003.
From Germaine Greer's article in The Daily Telegraph 16 Aug 2003:-
They don't have to, but they do, and usually I don't mind. Indeed, to see the aircraft in which my father flew, and hear the throb of its engines, usually brings a lump to my throat. The pilot of the Duxford Lancaster sent an imaginary bouncing bomb across my orchard at about 9pm on July 19, then banked steeply, came round and dive-bombed me again.
