A quick search shows that there are a number of analogue tachograph repairers. If the lorry is manufactured before 1st May 2006 then you may use an analogue tachograph.

The Tank Museum should know what the periscope was used in. Is there a date(s) on the periscope? A date would help you cross reference to one or more vehicles that were in service at the date. Have you contacted the Royal Museums Greenwich to see if they can help with the type(s) of vessel?

What ever size tyre you choose, if you are fitting them yourself please remember that the first time you inflate the tyre a split rim wheel can blow apart even if you think that everything is in place and this has resulted in serious injuries and even be fatal. So, it is a case of the original being well/over engineered to most of the DUKWs now being under engineered.

I wonder, how many DUKWs sank inWW2 because of the sea conditions and how many were destroyed by enemy action.
