  1. Cheers guys for that, good to see that it is still around.
  2. The link that I put up earlier seems to no longer work, perhaps because they have added more pictures of the vehicles. Try this new link if you are having trouble: http://www.auction.u-net.com/
  3. I hadn't seen this one before when it attended the 2005 Belvoir Castle Steam Festival and I haven't seen it since. Anyone know anything about it?
  4. Haven't seen this one out and about again since I photographed it back in 2005 at Belvoir Castle. Anyone have any extra information on it?
  5. Spotted this one at the 2005 Belvoir Castle Steam Festival. Just found out some old pics so thought I'd upload it. I wish I had took a pic of the information board now as well!
  6. Spotted this one at the Belvoir Castle Steam Festival back in 2005 and have recently found the pics from that show. I haven't seen it around anywhere since.
  7. Just saw this on another forum and thought it would be of interest to others here. http://www.auction.u-net.com/classic.htm Look's like a fare few ex-military lot's will be going under the hammer on Saturday.
  8. Site seems to be very slow today to me. Takes ages to load home screen and other pages???
  9. Final lot of old pictures from me. These were mixed in amongst the shots which I took at the War & Peace Show and The Great Dorset Steam Fair. Hollowell always has a good military turnout, although I haven't been for a few years due to it clashing with other events. Hopefully these will be of interest to some members. The K5 now looks like this:
  10. Just been sorting through some old albums and came across this one which I took at the 2000 Great Dorset Steam Fair. Is it still around?
  11. Again in the same album as the pictures which I posted in another thread from the 2000 show I also found these pictures from the 2001 event. There seemed to be a few Reo's in attendance this year and a couple of vehicles which you no longer see around. Thought that you might like to see these as well.
  12. Saw this one around ten years ago now at Hollowell Steam Show. I think it used to belong to someone called Paul Rhodes who had a lot of big ex-military hardware.
  13. Have been sorting through some old photo albums recently and came across these pictures. I think they date from 2001. Sorry about the poor quality I didn't take my photography as seriously back then as I do now! I'm pretty sure that this was the first time that we attended the show, I must have been that interested in everything that I hardly took any pictures. Mind you I might have fun out room on my film Does anyone recognise any of the vehicles in these shots?
  14. And here are the rest of the pictures which I took from that year. Again shout up if you spot your vehicle!
  15. I was sorting through some old photo albums last night and came across these pictures which I took 11 years ago now . Hopefully the quality is ok as I have scanned them off my original prints but hopefully they will come up ok. There are some vehicles which you still see around in this batch, while someseem to have disappeared altogether. Are there any vehicles amongst these thatbelong to forum members? Here are some of the bigger machines which were on display.
  16. Should be an interesting restoration. Could I ask what the registration number of the machine is?
  17. Yes please Howard. I must admit I do like following your restoration blog's!
  18. There are seemingly others about as well, like this example which is based at Ashdown Camp, Evesham.
  19. Hi Richard, We stopped at Chateau de Martragny when we visited in 2009 and I would recomend it to anyone. It's in a great location, just between Bayeux and Caen, which makes it easy to cover all of the British area from this campsite, and also has great facilities. http://www.chateau-martragny.com/specific/formats/index.jsp?lang=EN Scott
  20. I'm pretty sure that Paul is a member of the forum. A great restoration of a very interesting vehicle. Good to see it out and about at a number of places this summer.
  21. Looks like they have got a couple of ex-military trucks according to the pictures on their website, http://www.nationalwaterwellengineers.co.uk/gallery.html
  22. Very nice indeed Dusty. Great to see these different QL's!
  23. Oh dear I seem to have had QL fever and gone into upload overdrive (those extra one's now removed)! No worries guys, it gave me an hour off from working! Regards, Scott
