The devil of this is in the detail, what if you bought an ex military Land Rover for civillian use? I'd make sure all the English paperwork registration streses it as a 'camper'. Then let the beaurocrats try and dig the bones out.
Vehicles at Springfeild Stadium St Helier Jersey waiting for disposal. Some stuff was crushed with a Char B tank, I'll try and find the picture.Possibly the Steyr in the previous phot?
Careful Degsey, the Dodge is the love of my life! :-D (Sad I know) Though I do find scrap yarda a bit deppresing. Thinking of all the joy and swank the original owner of a vehicle probably had. Then to see them just rusting away.
Thanks Fredric, the one pictured is owned by Damien Horn, he owns the Jersey Military musuem. It was in the Island and following the end of the war was sold at auction locally. It then became a family car!
W&P has a reputation of all or nothing weather. It was blowing a hooley a couple of hours ago! Just stuck head out this minute, drying and still, a lot of dark cloud though.
:pfrt: Musn't insult you to much though. :flowers: I'd like a copy of the Chateau photo.
Not giving away secrets, but. It's fantastic, I want to hang the picture on the wall.
There is a steam place I know re-buildind an old engine. They have the top of the smokestack from the original, and are claiming they are 'rebuilding' the old one.Your attitude is much better!:-D Be great to see it on a, more complete, restoration.
