  1. Surley 'Plant' would be appropriate? Very useful class.
  2. If he walked away that counts as a good landing. (If you can use the aircraft afterwards, that's a GREAT landing.)
  3. It was 1962 before the cloth hall was finished. Knock the proggramme as much as you like, but, I know from talking to the Great Unwashed at events it sparked a lot of intrest.

  6. HT leads and new dizzy cap, could be a worn rotor arm. Does the coil get hot? And don't forget the old chesnut! Frank Jolley does a very good electronic ingnition, easy to fit and nothing shows. He will insist on knowing the ins and outs of the vehicle though! Is it 6 or 12 volt by the by? Dodges have a habit of runnig till everything is worn out then stopping dead. Most vehicles do at least give you a warning. Though as you will have found the old girls pull nearly as well on 4 as 6.

  15. Dazzle camouflage experiments? Trying to get a gun sight lined up on one of those taking evasive actions could well induce vertigo and disorientation.
  16. If you mean 'Why has it git, or GOT even, USAAF markings, then it is a PRU unit. Note colour, and no guns, the USAAF used them.
