    The Cheese THE CHEESES! Could be used to repair boot soles, fix radiator leacks, place tin in issue sock and it was a devestating close range weapon. A pice of string pocked down through and you have a candle. Any thing but eat the bloody stuff! Apparently it was illeagal to feed it to prisoners. Now Babies Heads, I still drool over the thought of Baby Head and Smash. Followed by dried apple and sugar, if the apple hadn't gone into the porridge.

    No breacks at all this season Degsey. And of course it will mean the land is unworkable, , so the hay and silage will be affected, who'd be a Farmer?

    New studs are not that expensive and quite easy to get in UK. The other thing they are small enough to drop in regular mail. So are a couple of sachets of one shot grease.The old joke about Land Rover hubs is when do they need refilling? When they stop dripping. The gaiters end up gone on most of them anyway.     I've found Plasteel far superior, sets faster and if nesscary under water, great for emergrncy cooling system repairs. Decent Stud removers are a must. They can also be used on rounded nuts and bolt heads at a pinch. But get a decent set.

    I invested in a set of Halford Proffesional Stud removers, four in the set 6, 8 , 10 , 12 , got them on offer at about £30. Absolute Godsend! JB Weld , do you mean the paste? I use plasteel, it was the only stuff I found would repair a one inch square hole in the sump of a Disiel engine. But it can be cheap enough to get replacment second hand in good condition.

    Forgot to add whilist up at Les Landes, take a walk to Grosnez Castle. All the open air sites at Noirmont and Les Landes are free. You can get a season ticket for all the Ststes Museums.
