Hi, I have what I believe is a Rubery Owen ex radio communications trailer. Would anyone know anything about these trailers. One thing I am interested in is the weight as it sits empty. Obviously this will increase as I install stuff in it, but does anyone know the weight empty, as it sits now ? Any other info would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks. James.

Hi Everyone, I'm James and I am located in Buckinghamshire area of the UK. Currently I don't have any military type vehicles, however I am on the look out for an AEC Matador (preferably timber tractor but not essential). I derive from Steam and Vintage Tractors and have always fancied getting an Ex Military type vehicle. The reason for a timber tractor is that I have an old Rack Saw so it would be in keeping with that, and also handy for loading the trees on to the saw. I do have an old Rubery Owen military trailer which I am currently trying to tidy up to use as living accomodation at shows, so this would look good behind the right vehicle. Hopefully catch you around the shows and/or forum pages.
