Hiya Chris, not sure if you are aware, but with regard to parts there are a lot of differences between Chevys and Jimmies, in fact it's a bit of a minefield at times :shocked: Of course the other problem is that once you have the Chevy, you'll want to sell the 'man's truck' :thumbsup: Hiding under the table, in readiness for the incoming barrage...............

I spent the final 5 months of last year in Libya with work, we visited the Roman ampitheatre they show, if memory serves this was where that Bedford MW was hijacked, at a place called Sabratha, open to the public to visit with no restrictions, incredible place. I tried to find a copy of the film on ebay, with no success, anyone ever seen it on DVD?

  18. Colt, I'm with Richard on this one, stick with what it's meant to have, and avoid metric at all costs. UNF and UNC are still readily available, but if you have problems tracking them down I can give you some supplier names.
  19. Mark, IDF used loads of captured vehicles, including T62, T54, ZIL 151 and 157 trucks, Walid armored cars (Egyptian), M113 (captured from Jordan), OT64, BTR50. If you have a serious interest in Israeli vehicles, the book you need is 'Israeli Military Vehicles', by John Myszka, ISBN 0-646-36002-7, about 230 pages.
